Two drivers should alternate approximately every two hours on long highway sections.
A mechanically healthy modern car does not need dedicated engine-cooling stops during normal highway driving. Scheduled passenger and driver breaks provide stationary time.
These are the stops where the plan deliberately works around temple windows.
Do not rush for the morning closure. Target the 4:00 PM reopening and use the waiting period for lunch and rest.
Target the 4:00 PM evening opening. This naturally allows a relaxed lunch and drive from Tirunelveli.
Reach by 10:45–11:00 AM and complete darshan around 12:30 PM. Never speed to recover time.
Eight temple visits, including three of the six Arupadai Veedu.
